Seed certification has to maintain and make available to the public, through certification, high quality seeds and propagating materials of notified kind and varieties so grown and distributed as to ensure genetic identity and genetic purity. In order to achieve this, the Seed Certification Department carries out the certification work in various seeds notified under Indian Seeds Act, 1966 and in accordance with the provisions of the Seed Rules 1968 to maintain the quality of the seeds produced in the state.
Any person who wants to take up certified seed production should submit a sowing report to the Assistant Director of Seed Certification on line to register the seed crop with a prescribed registration and prescribed certification charges. உற்பத்தியாளர் சான்று பெற்ற விதைகளை உற்பத்தி செய்ய விரும்பும் எந்த ஒரு நபரும் விதைப்பயிருக்கான விபரங்களுடன் கூடிய விண்ணப்பத்தினை கணிணி தொழில் நுட்பம் (On Line) மூலம், உரிய பயிர் பதிவு கட்டணம் மற்றும் சான்றளிப்புக் கட்டணங்களுடன் தங்கள் பகுதி விதைச்சான்று உதவி இயக்குநர் அவர்களிடம் வழங்கி உற்பத்தியாளராக பதிவு செய்து கொள்ள வேண்டும். உற்பத்தியாளராக பதிவு செய்து கொள்ள இங்கே சொடுக்கவும்.
The basic objective of the Seed legislation is to regulate the quality of seeds sold to farmers. Seed Inspection wing is issuing the licenses for Seed dealers under Seed (Control) Order 1983. உற்பத்தியாளர் சான்று பெற்ற விதைகளை உற்பத்தி செய்ய விரும்பும் எந்த ஒரு நபரும் விதைப்பயிருக்கான விபரங்களுடன் கூடிய விண்ணப்பத்தினை கணிணி தொழில் நுட்பம் (On Line) மூலம், உரிய பயிர் பதிவு கட்டணம் மற்றும் சான்றளிப்புக் கட்டணங்களுடன் தங்கள் பகுதி விதைச்சான்று உதவி இயக்குநர் அவர்களிடம் வழங்கி உற்பத்தியாளராக பதிவு செய்து கொள்ள வேண்டும். உற்பத்தியாளராக பதிவு செய்து கொள்ள இங்கே சொடுக்கவும்.
